If your New Year’s Resolution was to get in shape then the Free Nike Run Club app can really help you. Last September, I decided to take up running again so I could participate in the Candy Cane Classic 5k Run at Texas Motor Speedway in December. To my surprise, I actually won my age group at that race and realized I wanted to get serious about running as my 2018 New Year’s Resolution. That’s when I discovered the Free Nike Run Club App and in the last month i’ve knocked over 30 seconds per mile off my time. You just download it from the App Store and then plug in what your goal is and when you want to achieve it and then the app comes up with a plan to make that happen.
So now I’m training for the Cowtown Marathon 10k (6.2 miles)in less than 3 weeks. Then the Rock N Roll Half Marathon(13.1 miles) in Dallas in late March and then the big goal the Irving Marathon(26.2 miles) on April 7th…….
