Bye-Bye Starplex, new name DOS EQUIS Pavilion

Heineken signed a marketing deal that gives Dos Equis exclusive naming rights to the venue.  Opened in 1988 as Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre, then came the corporate sponsorships and names changes to Smirnoff Music Centre, Superpages.com Center, and most recently Gexa Energy Pavilion from 2011-2017….back to Starplex and newly re-named again!
