A day to remember…

Today is Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance.

On this day, it is asked by the President that the American flag is flown at half-staff at individual American homes, the White House and on all United States government buildings and establishments at home and abroad.

Americans observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 A.M.(Eastern Daylight Time), the time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

We’re encouraged to find and volunteer for service opportunities as a way to honor the victims.
