Two weeks til Dallas turns PINK!

As the 37th annual Komen Dallas Race for the cure approaches just two weeks away, October 26th at NorthPark Center, I hope you’ll join the Wolf team to support, fundraise, and encourage others to join in our effort to use this day to raise awareness and critical funds for the continued research, associated assistance and benefits the organization provides to breast cancer patients and their families right here in Dallas County.

The first year I was associated with this race on behalf of 99.5 the Wolf, I RAN the race…the next year? I ran, too! But after some of our Wolf Promo Team literally ran circles around me in the 5K that second year, (I’m SURE it was to cheer me up and keep me going, NOT to discourage me and the pathetic time I was on pace for per mile) the third year I transferred my efforts to helping host the event. What started for me 12 years ago has become one of the most important and fulfilling things I do every year now.  I hope you can sign up to be on our Wolf Team this year.  We’re covering registration for the race for a limited time. First come, first served.

A couple of FAQ’s about the race below can get you started on your journey to that 5K in two weeks!

See you soon!

Team Captain, over and out!

Q. Does the money raised stay right here in our community?
A. Yes! Up to seventy-five percent of the net proceeds from the Race stays right here in our community to fund vital breast cancer health education, screening, diagnostics, treatment, patient navigation, and transportation services to thousands of Dallas County residents who cannot afford breast health care. We invest the remaining twenty-five percent in national breakthrough research.

Q. Where do I send donations?
A. You can drop off donations at 13747 Montfort Dr., Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75240. Or mail to: P.O. Box 731696, Dallas, TX 75373-1696.
