Wolf Mardi Gras

American Idol
Hope Johnson of Arlington is one of several people from North Texas that made it to Hollywood this year on American Idol. She grew up poor with six sisters and a brother and told a story about growing up without dinner and bringing food home from school to feed her brother. She joins Casey James, Erynne Hundley, Alex Lambert, Todrick Lewis, Savannah Low, Heather Todd and others from the North Texas area in the next round in Hollywood.

American Idol
 Last night's American Idol in Denver had highs and lows just as any of the audition episodes, but some people might argue that Idol achieved a new low last night at the end of the show. Commercials for American Idol recently have shown a blurred out figure walking in to the audition room teasing the audition they couldn't show you. At the end of the show last night the last audition was Ty Hemmering, "Bikini Boy". He walked out on stage in a string bikini and attempted to sing "Achey Breaky Heart" as the four judges just got up and walked out instead of hearing him out.

2010 Grammys
 Taylor Swift was the big winner among country artists and pretty much everyone else last night as she won four Grammys including the the biggest award, Album of the Year. She also won Best Country Album, Best Female Country Vocal Performance, and Best Country Song for "White Horse." Zac Brown Band won the prestigious Grammy for Best New Artist. Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban also won Grammys last night.

 Carrie Underwood has just been announced as the Super Bowl National Anthem singer! Education Center of Aubrey Theft
The Education Center of Aubrey does not have a playground and all year the students and school have been doing fundraisers to earn money. All together they had raised about 800 dollars when the school was broken in to this passed weekend and all of the money was stolen. The kids are upset and afraid they will not be getting a playground this year. The school is hoping to find the person(s) responsible for this and get their money back. Officer Story Fundraiser

Papa Johns in the DFW Metroplex will be holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM in which 10% of all sales will go to Officer Craig Story's family. He was the Arlington officer that was killed two weeks ago. He had a 2 year old son and his wife is pregnant.

Conan O'Brien
As you probably know by now Conan O'Brien's stint on The Tonight Show is coming to an end. His last show is scheduled to air tonight on NBC. As this Tonight Show debacle has unfolded, many of the late night personalities have made fun of the network and each other. As the lame-duck host, Conan is right in the middle of it all and has been "sticking it" to NBC for weeks. Two nights ago Conan decided to hit NBC where it really hurts, the wallet, and made it a point to come up with the most expensive comedy sketch he could think of. Here is the video!

Internet Explorer Virus
 Microsoft found a hole in Internet Explorer that may have allowed hackers to access e-mail accounts. They are in position to patch the hole and make the update available to everyone today at the Microsoft Update site or update automatically if your computer is set to receive automatic updates. If a web user visits a compromised site using a vulnerable browser, they could be affected by a "trojan horse" virus, which could allow a hacker to take control of the computer and potentially steal sensitive information.
iPod Nano

Lady A with Tim McGraw
 Tim McGraw is getting ready to hit the road with his latest tour and was looking around for some opening acts for his new concerts. He decided to pick Lady Antebellum in large part due to his daughter. That's right, he let his daughter, 12 year old Gracie, pick the opening act for his tour. Gracie spent weeks begging her dad to ask Lady Antebellum to go on tour with him.

Keith vs Keith
 Toby Keith has issue with some comments that Keith Urban made at the People's Choice Awards. During his acceptance speech, Urban said he didn't mind if people downloaded his music illegally as long as they came to his concerts. Toby Keith found issue with that and spoke out. He defended the writers of the songs, because they do not get paid if someone buys a ticket to a concert, only if someone buys the song.
