2010 - Shania Twain was featured as a guest judge on Fox's American Idol.

2005 - Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney, Clay Walker and Lee Greenwood were among the stars performing at events surrounding George W. Bush's inauguration.

1993 - Kenny Rogers and Trisha Yearwood sang at the Presidential Inaugural Gala the day before Bill Clinton took office. Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson and Elton John were among the other acts on the bill.

1990 - Reba's first movie, Tremors, hit theaters with Kevin Bacon in the lead role.

1985 - Reba scored a number one hit with "How Blue."

1974 - Tom T. Tall hit the number one spot on the country chart with "I Love."

1963 - Flatt & Scruggs' "The Ballad of Jed Clampett" went to number one on the country chart. It was the theme of The Beverly Hillbillies.
