Actually it’s the pitter patter of EIGHT little paws…

Meet Toona (on the left) and Tank (right).  My wife, Sharon named them.  (I wanted something like CAT-lyn and Bruce, or Adrian and Rocky…)

We adopted them from the Prairie Paws Adoption Center in Grand Prairie.

The staff there was fantastic.  We got a bag full of goodies like food, collars, and all kinds of helpful tips on how to take care of our new additions.  Prairie Paws happened to be offering a special when we adopted Toona and Tank.  They waived the adoption fees, since I’m a veteran,    We even got a thank-you card in the mail the other day reminding us if we ever needed help they were there for us.

Toona tends to be more shy, while Tank has wasted no time in exploring (or at least trying to) the entire house.

Ah, the joy of stepping barefoot on cat toys again…  🙂
