WALMART is testing out having your groceries delivered via Uber. At the moment, this is being tested at Eight Walmart’s in DFW.
How it works: You buy online, Walmart associate gathers your items, and then Uber delivers to customer’s location. Or Walmart pickup service, buy online and then pickup at the store at the time you choose. And Walmart is offering “Scan & Go” a new service where customers scan their own items as they walk the aisles, then scan payment and skip the checkout lines. Story: Star-Telegram
But . . . TARGET has a plan too.
Target is testing a new service in DFW called Target Restock customers buy online non-perishable foods (max 45-pound capacity) and they will be shipped next day for a flat $4.99 delivery fee.
Are these offers something you would try???
