Some convenience stores and gasoline retailers are reporting a strong chance they will be out of fuel by Labor Day weekend. Why? Multiple refineries have shut down in Houston, Baytown, Port Arthur and other areas that provide fuel to our area. Also, don’t be surprised by higher prices.
QuikTrip, has 135 stores in North Texas, and according to company spokesman Mike Thornbrugh they plan to stop selling gasoline at roughly half its stores by this weekend. Here is the Link to QuikTrip that lists the gas stations that still have gas. More Story: WFAA
