The new show with Joss Whedon as executive producer,  he also wrote the 1992 film “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” which later became a TV series.  The show aired for seven seasons between 1997 and 2003 on The WB and UPN.  Hard to believe it’s been 15 years since the series finale in 2003.
