Sam Houston State University, said Will Byler and Bailee Ackerman Byler were killed when the helicopter departing their wedding crashed north of Uvalde Saturday. The couple were both seniors at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. Texas DPS troopers, Game Wardens, and the Uvalde Fire Department found the wrecked aircraft before sunrise Sunday.
