New city ordinance passed Thursday bans people from leaving animals in unattended vehicles for ANY amount of time. Fine could cost up to $192.00. Also, People also can’t leave animals in the back of a truck– unless the animal is in a cage. that’s not all … micro-chipping is required, and it’s now illegal to use metal chains to tie up an animal.
