Welcome To Comfort Food City, Texas

The stay at home mandate has us looking for unique ways to keep they days from running into one another . An occasional food indulgence will keep the blues away! We have decided to compile a list of Wolf fans all time favorite comfort foods!!!

Kimberly from Murphy grew up eating  “Doritos Salad” Iceberg lettuce, Dark or light red kidney beans, drained and rinsed, Sliced green onions, Diced tomatoes, Shredded cheese, Crushed Doritos. Creamy Italian Dressing. (A little Kimberely’s Kitchen tip….  back in the day, she used Seven Seas Creamy Italian Dressing. When they stopped making it years ago, she did her foodie research and learned that they sold the recipe to Kroger, who now bottles it as a private label product called Kroger Creamy Italian. You could also add taco seasoned ground beef to this, for more of a Taco Salad feel. I also like to add black olives to mine…yum!  Enjoy! You can check out Kimberely’s You Tube Cooking Channel)

Brian’s & his girlfriend, Jessica LOVE to whip up a batch of Buffalo Chicken Dip and eat it up with Frito’s scoops OR Brian’s fav method, a spoon!

Don called in from Whitewright to share his recipe for Armadillo Eggs.…Peel an avocado, replace the seed with cheese, put the avaoado back together, surround that with seasoned ground beef, wrap with bacon and grill YUM!!!

He also loves  Texan Bacon Wrapped Poppers but he likes to add brisket!

Catherine from Red Oak said her comfort food is a childhood favorite, we’re gonna call it Catherine Noodles! Spicy ramen noodles, add veggies and egg then mix in buttermilk ranch. She said she and her kids LOVE it!!!
