Tim McGraw performed his new single, “I Called Mama,” on The Ellen Show on May 13. Tim’s at-home performance marked his TV debut of the new single, which was released on May 8.
Penned by Lance Miller, Marv Green and Jimmy Yeary, “I Called Mama” is about the special connection mothers share with their children, especially when times are tough.
In addition to performing his new single, Tim shared his appreciation for essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s crazy to see the dedication the front-line workers have,” said Tim. “It certainly gives you a different perspective on people’s lives.”
