Opal’s Walk for Juneteenth is in Fort Worth on Saturday 10 You can join Ms Opal Lee to walk 2.5 miles to recognize the 2.5 years it took for the news of freedom to reach all enslaved people in the United States.
Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo will return to Fort Worth for a Juneteenth Celebration event at Cowtown Coliseum on Saturday. There is a parade at 11:30 a.m. and the rodeos are at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
