CMA Awards night was Lainey Wilson’s night from start to finish. The singer from Baskin, LA — population 175, she reminded viewers — hosted “The 59th Annual CMA Awards,” got the first performance slot, then won three awards, capping off the evening with an acceptance speech for her second Entertainer of the Year award.
