Hot weather will continue through the end of the work week, with triple digit high temperatures and heat index values as high as 105 to 110 degrees.
A weak cold front will arrive over the weekend, which will bring more seasonable temperatures and lower humidity to the region over the weekend.
There will also be a low chance for showers and storms with the front Friday night and Saturday.
