35 years ago today (Aug. 29), Ronnie Milsap’s <a href=" No Gettin’ Over Me” topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The tune, which was written by Walt Aldridge and Tom Brasfield, also crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100 (#5) and the Billboard Adult Contemporary (#2) charts.
