IKEA in Grand Prairie is the second store in DFW located at intersection of 161 and Mayfield Drive, the store is 290,000 square feet with about 400 employees plus a 450-seat restaurant. Besides the free sofa for the first 47, the next 100 in line will receive a free armchair and the first 2,500 to enter the store will get gift cards valued at between $10 and $250. Grand Prairie Grand Opening Ceremony Starts at 8:15 a.m. and will close at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday the regular hours begins open at 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Don’t forget the first Fort Worth store is expected to open in the summer 2019.
