The news is out: TOYS ‘R’ US has filed for bankruptcy, however before the official announcement broke their shares dropped on Monday. Not good news for the Toy Retailer, who has struggled over the recent years. Many Analysts believe it’s because the company could not keep up with lower prices and online shopping. TOYS ‘R’ US admitted it never caught up behind the world of online retailers. And, many online shoppers were buying from other competitors mainly from Amazon and Walmart.
