George Strait born and raised in Texas, lives outside of San Antonio, but also has a house in Rockport and Thursday he will be in Rockport to meet some of those victims personally. During the ‘Hand-in-Hand” telethon George Strait helped raise more than $44 million. According to the Governor’s Office, Strait will be joined by Texas Governor Greg Abbott during the meet and greet at ACE Hardware located at 2631 State Highway 35.
