12 Dallas Police Officers were shot and at least five were killed following an ambush in Downtown Dallas

(WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – 12 Dallas Police Officers were shot and at least five were killed following an ambush in Downtown Dallas Thursday night.

The attack took place following a peaceful Black Lives Matter rally. Dallas Police Chief David Brown says “2 snipers at elevated levels fired on officers” at the end of the rally.

1 suspect is in custody a 2nd one is dead after a stand-off with law enforcement.

Dallas Police are searching several areas downtown looking for possible bombs.
