California Cafe’ Refuses to Serve Cops

This cafe in Oakland, California will not serve any police officers, they say it’s for the safety of its patrons and employees.   A sergeant was denied service,  the Hasta Muerte cafe’ posted on their Instagram page explained that an Oakland Police Officer was turned away: “We have a policy of asking police to leave for the physical and emotional safety of our customers and ourselves.”  Hasta Muerte, meaning “until death” in Spanish, is an employee-owned café.  MORE STORY:  HERE

At first, the officer thought it was a misunderstanding. But cafe management later confirmed it's their unwritten policy to not serve the men and women in blue.
