The concert raises money for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in his hometown of Macon, Georgia. Total amount raised this year $621,390.21
“There is nothing better than coming back to your hometown for a great cause” Aldean said . . . . “over the last few years we’ve been able to help build an entire new facility for these kids who really need it the most.”
“There are a lot of reasons I love doing what I do, but being able to give back to these kids and their families is definitely really important to me,” Aldean said in a press release. “I’m looking forward to seeing how the community shows up for the hospital this year and what we can do to keep helping the people there.”
