Metallica invaded Nashville on Jan. 24 to play before a packed house at Bridgestone Arena. As expected, the biggest metal band of all time performed a number of their crowd-favorite hits, including âThe Unforgiven,â âFor Whom the Bell Tolls,â âFuel,â âOneâ and more.
Metallica even had something in store for the country fans in the audienceâa cover of Loretta Lynnâs 1971 hit, âYouâre Lookinâ at Country.â
Metallicaâs Kirk Hammett (lead guitar) and Rob Trujillo (bass) were front and center during the performance, while James Hetfield (vocals/guitar) and Lars Ulrich (drums) took a break.
