Nashville has seen a remarkable surge in tourism this summer, with record-breaking attendance and visitor spending at both the “Let Freedom Sing!” Music City July 4th event and CMA Fest, according to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp., highlighted the significant impact of live music in driving tourism to the city. “This summer’s record-breaking numbers reflect not only the strength of our signature events and concert calendar, but also the city’s ability to deliver an unforgettable experience for visitors,” Ivey stated. The city’s growing popularity is reflected in a recent national survey, where Nashville was ranked as the most favorably viewed large city in America. This popularity translated to a 3.8% increase in May hotel demand year-over-year and a 1.2% increase in June countywide. (Music Row)
