He shared via social media two pics — One taking his cowboy hat off to honor the memory to his friend and then the other is a backdrop picture of Troy behind the stage which read: “Troy Gentry, 1967-2017. RIP”
Friday afternoon, Gentry, known for the country duo, Montgomery Gentry, was killed in a helicopter crash before their scheduled performance with fellow bandmate, Eddie Montgomery.
