Mike Rawlings Will Offer Incentives to Win Amazon HQ2

Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings said Saturday the city will offer incentives to win over Amazon selecting Dallas for the 2nd headquarters.  Although Rawlings did not specify what kind of incentives but Amazon will pick one city in the U.S. to build $5 billion second headquarters somewhere in North America, and bring 50,000 jobs to whichever city will be selected

“Fundamentally, you’ve got to decide, are you going to grow, or not?” the Dallas Mayor said. “If a company says, ‘I’m going to bring 50,000 employees, what are you going to do for me,’ that’s a fair transaction.”

 Amazon’s request “significant factors” in their decision, including an area that can attract technical workers and “a stable and business-friendly environment..
