10 Days Away from IKEA Grand Opening in Grand Prairie

How big is this store??  TEXAS does it big and this new IKEA store will 290,000 square-foot,  sits on 30 acres with 1,100 parking spaces, located just off 161 on Mayfield.  (FYI:  Frisco store is 310,000 sq ft)   Grand Prairie will be the fourth store in Texas.  This is perfect for GP, Arlington, Mid Cities and Fort Worth area.  IKEA Frisco opened in 2005 as the first DFW IKEA store.

Also a supervised children’s play area, and a 450-seat restaurant serving Swedish specialties including those famous meatballs.  Doors open at 9:00 a.m.  on Wednesday Dec 13th
